Ginger has rebranded as Headspace Care, offering confidential mental health support through various channels for individuals seeking help. With live, text-based coaching, video-based therapy and psychiatry, and a library of skill-building resources, Headspace Care provides a comprehensive approach to mental health support, all accessible from your smartphone.

The coaching model at Headspace Care involves real-time, text-based conversations with trained professionals. This allows users to easily and privately chat with a coach at any time and from anywhere. Coaches are available 24/7 for immediate care and can also schedule regular sessions. To accommodate different communication preferences, a speech-to-text option is available. Additionally, coaches can guide users in finding the appropriate level of care and can connect them with therapists or psychiatrists if additional support is needed.

The mental health coaches at Headspace Care are highly qualified, with advanced degrees and/or coaching certifications. They possess a minimum of two years of professional experience and undergo over 100 hours of specialized training each year. Importantly, they are genuine individuals who work full-time for Headspace Care.

In addition to coaching services, Headspace Care offers video-based sessions with licensed therapists and psychiatrists. These sessions are available during evening and weekend hours when more comprehensive support is required. Users are encouraged to reach out to their coaches if they believe therapy or psychiatry may be beneficial.

Headspace Care also provides an in-app library of skill-building resources. This collection includes activities, podcasts, videos, articles, and more, all tailored to individual needs. The app offers personalized recommendations to address a variety of topics such as anxiety, stress, relationships, and career challenges.

Headspace Care is multilingual, offering services in English, Spanish, and French. However, it's important to note that the specific services available may vary depending on the language and region.

Rest assured that all conversations between users and their care teams are confidential. Headspace Care takes privacy seriously and complies with HIPAA, EU GDPR, and HITRUST CSF regulations.

While select employers and organizations offer Headspace Care at no cost to their employees, including unlimited mental health coaching, coverage for therapy and psychiatry sessions may vary. Users are advised to consult with their benefits administrator or health plan to determine the extent of their coverage.

To get started with Headspace Care, users can download the app and follow the appropriate steps based on their access through their employer or health plan. If access is through an employer, users should tap "My Organization" in the app and follow the instructions. If access is through a health plan, a unique code provided in an email from Headspace Care should be entered in the app by tapping "Enter an Access Code," after which users can proceed with the setup process.
